i wish you 3sgte guys made some videos that really show what daily driving and some racing feels like in a 3sgte celica.

If I had a video camera... I would... tongue.gif

yeah so I could further humiliate myself by showing the rest of the world what god-awful sounds my car makes... Here's the sound of turning a corner and taking off:

Idle: chug chug chug..KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK (sound of my exhaust pipe hitting cuz the engine is running too rough)..
Turning a corner: rrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOW *SCRREEEECH* (power steering growling and squeeking).
Taking off: vvvvvvvrrroooooooOOOOOOMMM KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK GUH GUH GUH *CHIRP* vroooooooOOOOOM PSSSSSH

I really gotta tune the fuel curve on this thing. The idle is horrible and combine that with lightweight flywheel and stiff pressure plate and it makes it difficult to take off sometimes.

Lagos...I love reading the threads you start because you ask very good pre-swap questions. (this one and the traction one come to mind) They help us guys that are heading that way....smiles. BTW, I completed my profile today despite the fact that the car won't be finished until July....A pic of my car in stock form is on its way in a couple days....but who wants to see that?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

everthing about driving the swap is awesome..its like keeping your car,but at thge same time driving a new  one. over 100 hp increase (i had an ST automatic) is like a Bruce Lee kick in the chest.

Hey bro... how's it going?? I haven't seen you post in a long ass time!

chillin right now bought a house and I rebuilt and re-installed the engine back in January...Monday im going up to the shop to pick it up from a shop im having them put a stand alone in it and dyno tune it heres the EMS --->Megasquirt&spark<----. they took it to the dyno yesterday i dont know what it put down they were still there when i called and hadnt ran it yet. right now im shooting for 240-250 to the ground for now and the ultimate hp goal is 290-300 whp.

I dont have 300whp now, but thats what im aiming for. From the researh ive gathered the stock internals should be able to hold up if they dont, I dont mind yanking the engine out again and installing the forgies. but yes to acheive 300 to the ground, u will need to go with the supra injectors. And a bigger turbo will be needed as well. this is the one im thinking about getting next summer Street brawler and it should put me right where i want to be

Nice turbo, but rather expensive, stage 2 hybrids for the 3sgte cost about $1700 dollars over here and are effective up to 1.6 bar, but the brawler will have plenty in reserve!

wat about blitz 850cc injectors?
