Okay I have a 95 gt

If I decided to find another 5sfe used engine out there what would you guyz recommend me replace before I even drop it in my engine bay since my current engine is 240'000 miles and torn up. I heard head gasket/water pump/ new hoses/belts

what esle would you guys recommend? I am just looking at stock changes no Mods of anykind here.

jfyi: I maybe purchasing a 95 gt car w/o engine and tranny to do my 3sgte swap! So that is still in the works. if it falls through Im selling my car getting a 93-97 TT Supra when it is availiable otherwise ill be driving around my current car with a used 60'000 miles engine untill I find a Supra.

Depends on the mileage, but if it were me, I'd do the all the belts including timing belt, water pump, hoses, and a new oil pump. Oil pump is not an absolute requirement, but it wouldn't hurt. New distributor cap and rotor, as well as plugs if the condition of those on the new engine are suspect.

I personally wouldn't go into the head unless the current owner has a BHG, or leaky valve stem seals...
