What RPM should we be idling in. I ahve a 95 GT and when I first start it up it starts at 1000 RPM plus, that's when it's in park. Even if it's warmed up it at 1000 RPM. But once I shift to reverse or drive it goes down to like 800RPM when idling is that good or bad?

i have a stick and it idles at around 700-900 when its warm and 1.2-1.5 for like 3 or 4 minutes when its cold, but since you have an automatic its gonna idle a little higher so 1000 is fine
