ok, well i noticed my car has seemed very slow... its not norm this bad. AN i thought sometimes its enough power that i dont bitch, like when i drive my bros civic. But recently im thinking, my car seems slower. Then i thought it has been atleast 6 mounths sence i put my cai on, and i havnnt cleaned it or anything... So besides my story, how often to you guys clean your intakes also, what do you use... Iv used that k&n crap before.. its only like 10 bucks.. But thanks kids..

ya i was going to recommend the K&N recharge kit as well.(ya i do it every 6 months or so)

6 months really is nothing. Your intake shouldnt really needed to be cleaned that quickly.

well, if it makes a dif, its a plan cheap one. I know they all work the same.. and are the same, in any performanc aspect, but I have no idea bout the cleaning

i have an injen intake with the injen filter. i bought the k&n cleaning kit and it basicly brought my filter back to life. after cleaning it, it looked better then new.

just make sure to read the instructions and give the filter a few hours to dry after you cleaned it.

oh and dont try to clean it with out the kit becuase you could end up messing up your filter.
