WEll, like a couple guys said..Its probably the sway bar bushings!! I bought two of them from advanced auto for 4.62 each and it took me about 5mins to replace them...the old ones werent broke or anything but the rubber was hard and kinda wore out. Anyways, that fixed my clunking noises.

Any chance you have part numbers? I went to Advance this morning and they had the links, but not the bushings. The links were 23.99 for the front and 49.99 for the rear.

Thanks, I'll probably get those next week.

When I pulled the tires off the front, I noticed the front links looked pretty nasty, so I decided to change the front links. The car handles like new, it got rid of most of the body roll.

Part # for the front link is 18186. It's also by TRW, and it's the same part for both sides. Only took about 15 minutes per side.

Could someone post a pic of what this bushing looks like?
Is this just the "black" rubber portion with the bolt enclosed in it?

Look like this..the sway bar runs through both of them and there is a bracket that goes over them and bolts to the frame with two bolts.

Ok one last time...these bushings in that picture, are they the ones that are at the top and bottom of the sway bar link?

I was told from a AutoZone Rep. that you can't just replace those, and that you'd have to replace the whole stabalizer link?

Please someone help....I'm getting more confused. lol confused.gif

Just FYI, but if you're able to measure the bar, you might be able to find some Energy Suspension urethane bushings that will fit int he stock location. They would be firmer than the stock rubber bushings, and might last longer. Urethane has a tendency to squeak after the lubricant degrades or is lost...
