does anyone know that the machine that measures the rms watts of an amp is called im looking to buy one but i need to know the name of it. thanks

Look for a "true RMS meter"

Measuring the output of an amp isn't as simple as hooking up a meter. Music signals change so much the power jumps.

To get accurate readings you need to use a signal generator and check the amp at different freq. Also you need to put a 4ohm load on the amp to get accurate readings. It really isn't that easy and you could smoke the amp.
