seems like something he wanted to do, and since he is planning on upgrading them, partially due to the broken passenger side, it seemed possible, and now all of us have yet another idea for what to do with tails.

Not bad, not bad. Not a style for me personally, but BIG TWO THUMBS UP on the innovation, the time, and the execution. Very nice way to stand out! In my book, that is all that matters. Regardless of what anyone says, YOU did the unique and be proud of that.

yeah i tried that too.. but then my friend said its illegal to paint over tail lights.. so I pulled them off and put another set of stock ones on.. i'm too nervous to get a ticket..

I did something similar to my first car, you won't have to worry about tickets as long as all your lights can be seen from 500 feet away.
Those look really good, if i didn't have JDM tails i'd probablly be all about painting them now lol -------------------- 1 JL 1,000/1v2

I really like them. I'd probably get rid of the squares and go all circles, but I like how you made the whole back end flow together with the black license plate mount.

That looks pretty good. I like the way it flows with your flat black rims. I would have gone gloss, but same concept. Nice job!
