this might be in the wrong sectiong.. but it's more of a question to everyone.. how many of you would be willing to get into a group buy for some coilovers or springs??

yeah, i mean the "real coilovers" if we could get a half way descent price on a setup that can drop the car 3" to 4" (if possible). i would ditch my gc's in a heartbeat.

yeah, they do but they are really expensive. it would be great if we could get a group discount. of course it is going to be really difficult to get enough people together to make the discount worth the trouble. idk, i'm not really pushing the idea of the complete coilover group buy because of that, but if enough people are interested then i'm down.

maybe if we go through an online retailer instead of tein, we may get a decent discount cause if we had six people ready at one time it would pretty much make their year as far as 6gc coilovers go. what we need though is a hard nose negotiator.

or, if you guys would be down for a koni yellow group buy, that would be cheaper and you can figure out for yourself if you want coilovers or springs. i am throwing out a lot of different ideas for a group buy cause i think that suspension is very expensive and has been kind of over-looked by the group buy crowd.

id be in if they'd fit the 5th gen...and if they were decent coilovers (not complete assembly). just got finished purchasing koni yellows and h&r springs. but id rather have adjustable springrates. so i can blow my koni's and get them rebuilt for custom 1000-1500 springs rates!! yay!
