a "half-cut" or "front cut" is exactly what it sounds like...a car that has been cut right behind the firewall, or in a mr2's case, what is it, right at the haha "rear" firewall? (i dont know all the technical terms, man..lol) that way everything in the engine bay is intact...wireing ect..
anyway yea...hope that helps some man!

yes, a half, or front cut is the best way to do a 3sgte swap, that way you wont be missing any parts that you may need... wink.gif

well i'm assuming that's a comp test result on the bumper (105 for the last cylinder kuya?) and it says 98 on it.

Your right. I didnt see the 1998. Weird. What i have found in US junk yards is that some vehicles have completely wrong years written on them. A 5gc had 1995 written on it. I called them asked if they had a 94 and up. They said yup. I went down and it was a 90-93. Might be the same case here.

the only reason it takes some people that long, is becuase they are waiting around for parts or mechanics to do the work for them.

i plan to do my swap in 2-5days.
