anyone know what the code for the alluminum block hemi style v8 toyota produced from 70-82? any help will be appreciated. thanks

toyota had a hemi????...news to me.....hemi's are awesome(my ram has one) hahaha bad ass engine

if i remeber correctly hemi is only dodge, its the type of engine they produced. toyota maybe tried to make a look alike, but they didnt call it a hemi

It's not a V8. It's a 4 cylinder... called a 2TC/3TC....

Yeah... they came in various versions of the 70's Corolla Sprinters. They're the toyota hemi motors... OHV pushrod hemi head. There was also a 2/3TG which wore a yamaha head with DOHC on a T block. These are iron blocks (not alluminum) and are fairly small 4 cylinders (1.6 and 1.8 stock)... although they're commonly built, overbored and stroked to make some very good drag motors. They can make a lot power and torque...
