Well.. I just have a controller box for my neons.. pretty small, mounted it inside my glove box because I have a 'vert and like everything to be under lock and key. Hassle to adjust while driving tho..
I offered to write a howto on it (fairly custom/complex install), but no one was interested. |

My neons under my dash turn on when my lights go on, using a relay to take the load off the interior light fuse...
As far as my future neon plans, I will be placing a switch either between the ashtray and armrest, or inside the armrest compartment... |

I am thinking of putting one below my CD player. I am thinking diamond plate or fiber glass and molding it in.

I used to have four switches below(or above...I can't remember) my cd player a long time ago. I just found a pic the other day, and I'll post it later when I'm off work.
Right now I have my window switches molded into my interior panel that goes around the shifter. It was done poorly though and I need to take some time to re-do the panel and make it better. Here's a pic though. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

This pic is pretty dark... I hope you can see the switch. I went to a local hardware store and bought a simple push button switch. I installed it on the driver's side, right on the kick plate next to the clutch. I just wired it into the fuse box and grounded it into the chasis. Hope it helps

Coomer, that temp gauge molded into the shifter cover is nice. Is it reproducable for a relatively sane cost? I've got some GReddy gauges sitting on my dash, and it'd be nice to relocate my water temp there; very clean looking.

I could do something like what I did for you, although it's really not too hard to do it yourself. It would take me a while to do it too, because I'm so busy. Anyway, here's a pic of my old switch panel in my car.
