I was wondering if anyone knew if 18's will fit on a '97 without lifting the car.

Of course!
But in order to keep the same height you have to play with the tire size, i.e. Width & Height Here's a link that should be able to help you. http://www.c5-corvette.com/tirecalc.htm Found a better site http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html This post has been edited by Neipas09: Jan 13, 2003 - 6:03 AM |

Lots of people on here have 18" rims, and I've never heard of anyone having any problems with them fitting(Except I saw one Celica with a 4" drop and 18s, and it said that he has trouble with his tires rubbing often when he turns.) Here's a pic of an 18" rim on a sixth generation Celica with a 2" drop:
And for more photos of that car, you can click here. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Definitely, as long as you get 40 series or lower sized tires. Anything larger and your speedometer is not only going to be really far off, but I'd imagine that you're also going to have the chance of rubbing if you turn very sharp. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Yes I have seen 1exquizitcelica celica...
and yes it's awesome. However, the point is that of course you can use 18's or 19's but you have to change the profile of your tire to like 35/30, which believe me wont be too comfortable. |
