i bought 2 10s' mtx thunder 8000 off of eBay.com ~ each sub: 400RMS & 1000watts ~ i'm looking for an amp to buy.. and i'm kinda low on $$ cuz i am going to get my remote starter kit installed soon. would any of these amps work:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5700562067&rd=1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5700389470&rd=1

look @ the descriptions on the amp.. wut does it mean by "2 Ohm Stereo Stable
Bridgeable into 4 Ohms" .. .because my subs have 4 Ohm

please give me some feedback.. when it comes to stereo stuff.. i'm so lost..

thanks

Yeah, they will. Donno about the qulity tho. I'm assumign the 400x2 channels is at 4 ohms. If it's at 2 ohms, then you're gonna have to find something else. ignore the 800x1.

Stay away from Legacy. It's supposed to be the "high end" stuff from Pyramid. Pyramid just plain sucks. So they take there amps and put them in a shiny case. Big deal. You can't polish a turd. If you're short on cash just wait. You'll be happier in the long run. Look for a quality amp, but yes it will cost you. You are paying for both sound quality and quality design. Stick with audiobahn, mtx, usamps, xtant, kicker. Usamps will probably give you the most bang for the buck.

The legacy puts out maybe 200wrms and thats being nice.......

Look into profile if you want solid amps for the price...great budget amps

go with a directed amp. you can buy them refurbished on ebay for about 200 shipped and get a one year warranty. great amp, its 1500 class d (meaning you really have 1500 watts) and every amp is hand built

model # is 1100d

Agreed

Now if you want cheap go with MA for the money they are great ,but I would go with ARC if can afford it.

All the ones above are really good too.

would this amp work for my 2 MTX 400rms/1000watt subs(each) ??

when it is "mono" does that mean it can only power 1 sub??

Are your subs DVC 4ohm or SVC 4ohm?????

If they're SVC 4ohm, that amp is perfect.
