I have a 99 GT...There is a slight gap on the right side of mine as well, BUT....not very noticable to most people....Im sure all you experts would see it though
I have no idea the reasoning behind it??? This post has been edited by amysmojo: May 24, 2004 - 11:29 AM -------------------- |

Mine is the exact same, may not look like it in the pic but its off at least 1/4 inch. I dont like the look of it on my car so its been sitting in my closet until i find something to do with it.

Was your car ever in a wreck in that area? This could cause a slight gap from the repairs made in that area.

Ugh. Most VIS Hoods have a gap on the driver's side for some reason, the old Celica had it, the new Celica has it. Something that you have to deal with from Authentic VIS.

I doubt its from a wreck since a lot of us seem to have the same exact gap. I think Jason is right about his VIS gap theory lol....maybe who knows -------------------- |

You guys think the gap is huge on those cars, you should see it on my GTS, its kind of ridiculous, but it looks good nonetheless. |
