Well at least not yet. Heard they're trying to do emissions testing here in MI in the next few yrs or so? frown.gif

Edit: I voted that we don't have emissions tests where I live...hence my reply above.

when i went, they quickly noticed the motor and said it wont pass. I knew that already, but he said he could pass it.

payed $200.00 and it passed.

they didnt notcie mine, my cig lighter doesnt work and they had to pop my hood, 3 people came over and were try to set it up on my motor to run it, so anyways 3 emissions people looked my motor over for about 5 mins no one notices and i passed with flying colors.

i don't have emissions where i live.... where the car was registered yes... i failed..... at double the rates..... now the car is registered where i live & no emissions....

I was thinking the same thing. And if it's a bribe then what happens if they wouldn't take the bribe? Is the car not street legal then?

my car is NOT street legal.

When he ran the smog test, he didn't touch a single thing in my engine bay. All the dude did was mess arround with his computer, ran the car, then it passed. There are ways of making it pass, it'll just cost you.

im going to go down to get my car inspected today while the 5sfe is still in there. at least that will give me another year before i have to worry about it.

the guys who do the test are dumb, well where i go they are. they would pass anything, they even list all the stuff rong, i dont ave a sedan or an automatic, and when i had my civic done there was no way it would pass but they though it was an automatic too, and a sedan, and a 4 door with deal exhaust, not of witch it actualy was. i doubt my celica would pass for real but i'm not worried about it.
