I'm psyched decided to get my entire car painted '94 Celica ST Coupe, and get factory sideskirts installed (found at salvage yard). Wasn't sure if I was going to stay with factory white, but decided not to change too much and went with Diamond Pearl White, used on the lexus/toyota line for a few years. Will post a picture when I get it back.
Need to save up and get new springs/shocks/struts/mounts. Also will get the caliper and rear drum cover painted when the suspension work is being done. |

Looking at around $1500 CAN for the paintjob. But to install and paint the factory sideskirts and repair the right rear fender its and additional $450 CAN. So with the current exchange rate about $1450 U.S. + taxes. I saw the car afer sanding, wow, it was so smooth, and they were taking every little ding out of the car. Plus they had to do rust repairs (car was on the east coast for 8 years). thanks for the heads up on keeping it clean.

I had mine painted about 6 months ago. (Hit an ice bank in the winter, scraped the side and banged up the fender. I also had a big dent from a half dozen orange barrels in the middle of the highway that jumped in front of my car, but thats another story) Looks like glass now. (pics in profile) Anyways, the total came out to around $3000ish. I don't know the total exactly because of the new fender and the custom hood (carbon fiber with black racing scallops). Mixing in what the insurance paid, and friend of the body shop's owner discount, I only shelled out a couple hundred. -------------------- |

Tweak car with that hood looks great, I think carbon fibre hoods look best on black cars! By the way where did you get your carbon style wipers arms from?
