Hey guys....u can check my profile for more info about me...
Modifications done to my car till now is: Bosch Mag Plugwires 5mm V Power NGK Plugs Injen Cold Air Intake Custom exhaust lowered my car. RSGT Aerospeed 18" wheels Denso Bigger CC fuel injectors (don;t remember which) carbon fiber hood ( truth is it sucks cuz it doesn"t fit properly) Things to come: Greddy SP Exhaust. Tusudo Chrome Headers 4-2-1 with Oxygen senser holes. Apexi SAFC Controller. Vader Bodykit from www.extremedimensions.com Venom Fuel Injectors. Venom Fuel Pump. Okay i will be getting a overdrive pulley and Cam gears...but still searching for the cam gears...this is a good idea to gain Horse power as ST models: Camgears: 8~25 hp gain ( only adjustable ones ) Pulley drive: 8 hp SP exhaust: 15~20hp headers: 15~25 hp Venom fuel stuff will give u gain in hp depends on how u adjust it. I would suggest the new Venom Computerized Nitrous system. if i can save up more i will try to get my valve springs and pistons and rods changed to highperformance so that i can use Nitrous in a decent way. Gonna take time ST people get this stuff it does give u more horsepower...do this before u get a turbo. i did alot of research on it. This post has been edited by zebt66: Jun 4, 2004 - 8:04 PM |

Wow dude. I don't know what drugs you're on, but I want some.
You're so far off the mark its sad. Have you ever dynoed any of your 'high hp' mods? Where are you getting all the info on the mods to come and all the power they produce? Please please do some reading before you do any more boasting. Be careful what you believe. Many manufacturers make false claims about hp gains. Don't believe anything but the dyno you see with your own eyes. |

Dont forget the small stuff, like switching to a good synthetic oil and trans fluid, every little bit helps (I prefer Amsoil)

Sounds like you have a good plan ahead of you. That nitrous will be fun. Once you get all those engine mods your car, your car will have some nice pull to it. You'll prolly have trouble with the cam gear. I dont think anyone makes an aftermarket piece, but maybe I'm wrong.
I like to see people mod up the 7a. Maybe you should look into porting and polishing the head. upgrade the clutch, machine the flywheel,TRD short throw shifter, and add lsd to the tranny. good luck with the 7a DEF This post has been edited by defgeph: Jun 4, 2004 - 11:50 PM -------------------- I will return one day. |

you could always take your air conditioner out, then use a smaller belt to compensate not needing to go around that pully. With the less drag your sure to make more horse power, not to mention lightening it up.
I would suggest lightening it up anywhere you could. Some racing seats or something. -------------------- |

Hmmmm....Actually what kind of setup do you trying to built???This sounds like a NOS setup to me...
First go for the exhaust system and headers and later on for the rest. |

I had some changes in plans to mod my car...i m not a kid who likes bomb mufflers and intake....just a start offf.
instead of getting my bodykit and SP exhaust i m thinking abut getting this turbo kit: http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/pages/d...tsku=TSI-TC25B1 After the turbo kit i will get teh pulley and try to get the air conditioner out ( thts a nice idea Thank U) and then i can get a bodykit and SP exahsut and stuff later on. How does tht sound. I need comments on the turbo cuz i m new to tht section so i will apreciate it if u guys help here. This post has been edited by zebt66: Jun 5, 2004 - 5:00 AM |

If your going to go turbo might as well do the exhaust at the same time because the downpipe won't connect to the stock exhaust, as most (if not all) 7a turbo kits are for rolas and there exhausts differ from celica ones. Also with a turbo that is connected to a stock exhaust your just going to hurt your performance because with all the extra air and fuel that your going to be using your stock exhaust will not be big enough to handle it all efficiently.
