So for various reasons including Im currently unemployed. I have to sell the celica and get a beater car. I was just curious if anybody had, had luck with posting an online add through autotrader, or cars.com? Also i was wondering what you all would pay for my car.

Its a '96 Celica St Hatch
122k, 5speed, AC, power everthing, moon roof,
JVC MP3100 head unit
wired for subs/up to 4 amps
Pioneer 6 1/2s all around
some custom interior stuff, not to much, but not overdone

The body is in excellent condition(previous owner had it painted) except for one ding on the front fender. There are pics in my profile. Thanks a lot.
and blue book is around 5500. I still owe 4200 on it though.

I guess no one has experience w/ trying to sell their 6g wink.gif

Sorry that you have to try & sell it! I know you dont want to but sometimes ya gotta do what you gotta do.

I used yahoo autos & autotrader when trying to sell my 01 Jetta back in January. I would get lots of responses but no one really wanted to pay the asking price....they were only willing to give me around $10k when I was asking $13,500. I got tired of trying to sell it & I really wanted my 6gc soooo I finally traded the Jetta in, they gave me $11k for trade in which left me $1,500 to put down on the Celica after paying off the Jetta.

I wonder how much you could get on a trade in for a Celica? Depends on where ya go!

Good luck w/ everything! Sorry you have to give it up frown.gif

I got rid of my old '03 silverado by trading it into a dealership...no one else wanted to pay the price I listed.

ur car already looks it, but back to stock. somebody buying their daughter a car would rather have nothing, including a cai than anything at all. you either sell a heavily modified car or a stock one. otherwise it comes off as a half ass ricer car thats been raced. ie. cai cheap exhaust etc.
