Crystal mobile sound is the only way to go. If you ask people that are really into car audio they will tell that they a some of the best. I can get them for about $70 plus shipping. These have better SQ than most other speaker in this price range. If you are not going to be running amp these will be awsome.

honestly, the stock setup is perfect for someone whos not putting bass in

aftermarket speakers in my opinion are only good if your going all out

my girlfriends corolla has better stock sound/base than I have right now with my pioneer head unit /6.5's and 2 stock 6.5's

but im putting a whole new system with two 12's in so that will fix that

just my opinion

I upgraded my factory speakers and the bass disappeared. I hate to say it, but most factory speakers sound better and ive more bass than replacments. Ihad to add a sub to get the bass back.

ya man i got a sub, but my stock speakers sound and have more base than any 6.5 or 6.75 i've heard, only thing i've heard that even compared were a few 6x9's but they would never fit in a celi.

Were the ones you had amplified because a lot of aftermarket speakers can sound like crap or bassless when amplified by a head unit.
