91 Turbo manifold $125

91 Map sensor $100

item above does not include shipping

Package deal $700 shipped

The second e-mail I received is selling me

Hi I saw you were looking for some 3sgte items, here is a cut/paste of stuff I have for sale. Let me know Thanks.

Rebuilt CT26 turbo(out of 2nd gen MR2 turbo) 380 shipped

upgraded I assume would be for the CT26 to be able to handle boost effectively past 8 psi or so- the CT26 just seems to go limp after that from what I've been reading and the only way to get past it is (expensively) enlarging it.

Also Tressa, the CT26 is meant for 2.0 liter engines; so that "going limp" CT-26 syndrome would be even WORSE with our 2.2 liter 5sfe engine- its why several people have chosen different turbos for their 5sfte engines

Depends on what kind of upgrade, i think for 40bucks you really cant go wrong but your probably not going to be boosting such high numbers on a stock GT motor.

The CT26 can handle up to 15psi just fine. After that it runs outta breath.

Also, a BOV is not a BPV. The bypass will reroute air into the intake, while the BOV will route into the atmosphere.

I'm only planning on running 7-9 for now. This whole set-up is until I can do the Full swap so no it's not going to be anything crazy. Which one seems like a better deal though. I'm sure why there is such a big difference between the prices on the manifolds and map sensors..

7-9 on a 5sfe is decently high..thats going to be pretty crazy.

Thats the stock PSI range on 3sgtes

I am planning on staying around 7 unless I get modivated and do some work to the motor so figure I am going to be pushing 7. Which I feel is still safe.

7 is ok for a stock 5sfe in good condition; above 8 is starting to push it without engine work- and besides, with a CT26 the gains would start to fall off.

I recommended a different turbo to tressa because she sounds like she wants to go all out and do this the right way- including more and more engine mods later on. I have no doubts she could do a buttload engine work and want to run the turbo at 15 psi later on in life; and so I was recommending a turbo with a larger power range.

Edit: Crossed out "some engine work" and replaced with "a buttload of engine work"

She mentioned that this turbo setup is only to hold her over until her swap though. wink.gif

THen she shouldn't be wasting money on a CT26 at all; get a bigger turbo and slap it on the swap when she's done! s'what I plan on doing..

EDIT: that goes for a top mounted intercooler and a stock BOV. Get the steez in there with the custom FMIC and loud ass BOV, and get it in there now!

Thats the thing it's a temorary fix until I do the swap. I don't plan on this set-up being on for more than a year maybe 2...I just opened a business and dont have time for the swap right now. I still want to do someting though.

You're still wasting money if you're going to do a swap eventually; buy your turbo setup; but dont buy a CT26 or a 3sgte TMIC; buy custom turbo setup stuff so you can move it over to your swap later and get even more power out of the 3s.
