ok so up untill recently the lights have turned off when i turn the car off and open the door, but now sometimes it doesnt do it, anyone have any idea?

i havent really been doing anything different and i cant seem to recreate the situation and make it do it again

When the lights don't turn off, is your door open light on? Or is it still off? I know that when my car got painted, my lights wouldn't shut off, and my door open light wouldn't come on. It turned out to be a bad ground on the door switch because the bare metal had been painted over. wink.gif

thats probably it because i just got my passenger door fixed and painted, the dent was on the bottom, near where the door opens so it might have been painted around there, ill check it out!

actually it appears to be my driver side door causing the problem and that wasnt painted

i cant seem to recreate the problem , coom can you take a picture of the door close sensor or something so i can check it out

i know its dif compared to when you open your door an turn off the car or take out the key or somthing like that.
