I read in the how to that ABS brakes will not work for the rear disc conversion, how can you tell if a car has abs or not?

Also where is the best online junkyard to source parts for the conversion?

Call a Toyota dealership and give them your VIN #. They can tell you if the car had ABS from the factory.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

My car has ABS, but I'm not talking about my car. I'm talking about the donor car. In the how to it says that you can't use ABS brakes for the conversion, if you have ABS is ok to use them for the conversion or what?

abs has speed sensors at each of the brakes, so your abs wont work if your new brake parts were not designed those speed sensors.

when I called a jukyard to get my parts, they asked if my car was abs or not. I think most places will know wether its abs or not. Its just good business to have a good list of what parts you have
