After taking appart my car to put in new break pads, I found out the break pads are infact touching the roter is appears, after installing the new ones, same problem, the break pads seem to consistantly lightly touch the roter... this doesnt seem right? any ideas? My best thought is maybe the metal clips that hold them in are the problem, but I dono what normaly holds the breaks off.

They are made to touch alittle bit... u can adjust them but i recommened u dont. Unless u are ogign to make ur car a mostly track then all u have to do is stick a screw driver in there and pull back it cuts down on drag. i wouldnt do it tho means the more u have to push on ur brakes to stop.

those clips are only $20 if you want to replace them, it includes the 4 clips for both far and near side of both front calipers, and the spring to push pads away...although non-OEM replacements generally do not have holes for the springs.
