 do 5th gen power folding mirrors work?, are they hard to install |

I bought a set of 6th gen folding mirrors for my car. Wire color coding was the same as the ones in my car. Only thing different was the plugs that connect the mirror to the car harness and the car harness missing the wires used to fold the mirrors. Since I had plugs with the mirrors it was a minor job to change the plugs out and add the missing wires. I then swapped out the mirror switch in the door(which plugged right in). Works great. Not sure about 5th gen mirrors but in either case you will have to add the missing wires.
