I finally got my Greddy SP catback exhaust on Friday afternoon and it sounds great. I took plenty of pictures and I'll do a write up about it for anyone else who is going to put this exhaust on. If anyone has questions I'll try to answer them the best I can. I wana post a sound clip of it but how would I post that? I think it sounds badass and isn't bumble bee, it's very deep and added a good pickup from about 3500- redline.

Have you keep your pipe size?

The pipe size is 2.25 inch from the catback. I don't know what stock ssize is but its prob 1.75 or something. Also, do you guys suggest I reset my ECU with the addition of the exhaust?

your ECU will eventually adjust, but you can quicken the process up by resetting. there is a write-up in the how-to section as to how you should do it.

Do you drive fast or race?

If so, you might want to increase pipe size from engine to the cat to the same size pipe on the greddy.

If you can do that first, that would be nice.

With your new exhuast and filter, you can now tune your car for more performance.

If you want to right now, turn on all lights and car radio and also leave a car door open if the doom light it set to come standard with out alarm.

Remove the + wire on the battery.

Go and do something in the house. Within 5 - 10 mins reconnect the battery and go and drive the car normal, in between and flatout to teach the ECU how to handle different driving levels.

Yea I want to get the Arospeed header, high flow cat and bigger down pipe in the next month...trying to get the most out my 7A-FE till i get a full time job this summer and save up for a 3S-GTE swap. I'll post pics soon. How well would my exhaust work with the 3S-GTE, would the pipe to restrictive for the turbo? I'm to impatient to save up for the 3S-GTE alone and need to upgrade my performance on my 7A and hopefully some of the stuff can carry over when I make the swap.

2.25" should be ok for a 3s-gte. For best results you should go 2.5-3.0" pipe. Most mufflers have a 2.5" inlet so if you go 3" on your pipe your gonna end up bottlenecking at the very end anyways.

the only thing convertable to the 3sgte out of the mods you stated would be the greddy, be patient its not worth tossing another grand into something you will fully replace anyways.

Yea I know, I'm thinking maybe just doing my suspension and go autocrossing while I save up for the 3s-gte. I was also debating if I should do what this guy did since I really want to autocross. This way I keep my 7A-FE and it wouldn't put me in a highly modified class... http://www.grmotorsports.com/celicast.html

Isn't that a sweet color on a Celica BTW...

I love the paint job, but hate the rims.
