I agree, nos(I say nos because I don't want to say N20 or nitrous) is a money pit, but you must all agree, it would be a fun thing to have... talk about messing with a civics mind...

First off, I know it's easier to use "NOS" but that is just the name of a damned company that sells systems that use the fuel called Nitrous Oxide....grrr I hate people that do that and then defend it saying that NOS is what it's called, because it's not.

And then you go and contradict yourself. Before FNF, how many people called nitrous NOS? Not too many, but ever since that famous blowup scene witht hat Eclipse where they yell "NOS!" everyone uses it as that...so basically calling nitrous oxide NOS is being FNF-like which contradicts your saying "NOS is just for people who wanna be FNF" DUDE...if you could at all follow what I just said then you'll understand that you should go crawl in a dark hole and pee yourself....lol. Don't be knocking people that use nitrous and saying they're fast and furious wannabes when you're going around calling nitrous oxide NOS! Grrr....anyways....ranting is over with now. (BTW: This ain't to knock those of you who say NOS just for short because it's easier....like FallenHero and someitmes like I do...it's only to those people that defend that nitrous oxide is really called NOS....I get totally flabbergasted when people say that and defend it...grrrr)

Anyways. I agree with RedSunCelica. If you feel like you wanna beat these little kids with only an Intake and nitrous then go ahead and do it. Don't sit here and complain that it's not fair. Show them that it takes me than some nitrous to really race. Take some igotta5sfeturbo's advice to heart. Maybe you'll spend a hell of a lot more, but you aren't going to have a chance of messing up your engine and while those kids with only nitrous are filling up their nitrous tanks to get their horsepower, you already got your HP right under the hood of your car....readily available whenever you need it.

It's YOUR car....do what YOU want to do with YOUR car and don't complain about what others do to theirs. Street racing is illegal in the first place so saying they aren't following the (unwritten) rules of no nitrous is kind of contradicting yourself am I right? "Oh, you're not following the rules in an already illegal action"....you're already breaking the street racing law....so who gives a damn if you're breaking another one eh?

I don't know if any of that made sense. I just get really heated when people say stuff that's ignorant.

Lata all...BTW....igotta- You can also do that to yuor 5s...although it won't be as strong as the 3s because the 3s is made to handle a turbo...you cna still replace engine parts with performance ones on the 5s. :-)

I don't know if you read ANY of the other posts I made in this topic. I never once condoned putting nitrous in your car or said it was original. I said "be your own original person and make your car your own and as original as possible." I think it's feasible to say I'm suggesting don't put nitrous in your in your car because it's not original. Anyways, read other posts before just blurting stuff alrighty? Thanks in advance, because I (along will a million other people) don't like when false opinions are shoved in my mouth.

i see no problem with nitrous. It's just another mod, and a better one than an electric supercharger!

I ain't tryin to piss you off d00d, but when i read this it meant to me that you was saying that everyone on here that supports NOS is cool in your book and you are behind them 100% cause you think NOS makes a car original and unique to the person.
If you meant that NOS is ghey and so are the people that install it, then that's cool with me.

ya. i have this JUN camshaft kit. it has 264 degree cams, new racing valve springs, and valve retainers. all the parts are made out of titanium. It did cost a lot. If you want to know then go to the jun website. here is a link http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/car-type...gt-four.html?en

I would imagine that any JUN upgrades would make your car run 1000% smoother and better than before.

Nitrous is not legal to have in alabama. I wonder how you transport it to the race track?

I bet if you actually race at a track then you get some kind of registration and you can show a cop that and he'll let you go to the track to use it.

Even if had $500 would you really wanna use it for NOS? Probly not!
I would save another $270 and have me some projector lights. biggrin.gif
