Nah, i say it's alright to use. I mean if the person is legit. Of course even if the guy just had nitrous and nothing else then I would just have to give the guy my number and have him call me when his engine meets hitler in hell.

Ok, Nitrous replaces air in the fuel mixture. Nos is a better fuel for... the ... fuel. It makes for a quicker better burn, thus, making power. NOW, here is a thought: I wonder how injecting pure 02 would do?

i don't think it would work so well. O2 needs to be extremely cold to stay liquid. and also, with nitrous, when the nitrogen is expelled with the exhaust it carries a lot of heat with it. so without the n2 to pull heat out of your engine, it would overheat super fast. |

I believe if its in your engine, its legal. A win is a win, it doesnt matter how you get there as long as your first across that line. It doesnt matter whats different in your engine and ****, you dont go up to someone saying "If your f15 hornet wasnt jet powered I'd be able to beat you in a race." You either win or lose, no excuses.

Lazarus? Is that you? Oh, no, it's just a topic back from the dead.
Anyway since it's been brought back I'd say hide the system by putting the nozzle(s) on the underside of the intake manifold and put the bottle up behind your dash and have a WOT switch to activate it. Something like the Venom Recluse. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

i dont know who it was before that said it, but i hate when people refer to nitrous as NOS, seems like alot of the ricers that i meet, say there getting NOS, and i just look at them and say "you mean nitrous?"
lmao last friday, i was talking to some guy with an auto caviler, he told me he was getting a new ecu and nos, and i said "uh what kind of nitrous kit are you trying to get?" and he said "i dont want nitrous i want nos", and at that point, i just turned around and walked away..... |

First of all someone had posted NA engine with nitrous your engine is either NA or FI if you have nitrous and use it this makes it FI. Nitrous is a good mod for you car if you do it right and dont feel like going with turbo. Also someone had said it makes your car like a lot of others out there what does a turbo do? Hmm I'd say theres just as many turbos as nitrous systems give or take. Now granted that on imports nitrous is not the best way to get the most power out of your engine becuase it can not take the huge shots like the American cars with their bigger engines. Finally run what you brung and if you get beat just shut up and take it like a man.

Ive seen my friend beat a GST eclipse using NOS on his N/A 7mge Supra.
Now, if you think a turbo VS NoS is cheating like the idiot in the eclipse then you are wrong. When your racing you can use any performance mod you like, as long as the both of you don't resort to cheap tactis such as ramming into the other one. Racing isn't about winning, or losing or who has the crappiest car. It's all about creaming your oppenent, because they were too cocky in the first place to even race you. For those who don't want to race you just because you got NoS are just a bunch of PU*SYIES. |

i always thought it was about having fun and pushing your car to the limits... :-P heh, my friends dad has a 68 or 69 camaro with a 383 stroker pushing about 400hp, but he also has a 200shot of nitrous... im sorry but i dont believe its cheating, its just a cheap mod that you take a risk using, its just like taking off your intake box instead of getting a short ram or so on, cheaper, might not be as good as lets say a turbo instead of nitrous, but its a cheap, and worthy mod.

nice i have the same thing as u almost but ive ran a 14.7 with my car what size shot r u using. and i love my nos kit i have to bottles in the back and dual purge. it is also push button kind so i push it when i want. i run mine wet into the fuel reel. and i dont think it is cheatings its no different then a turbo. the only good thing about a turbo is u never have to fill it back up. i dont know i like nos it wasnt givin me anyproblems. but im looking at a 5sgte soon so its whatever. besides ill be in japan in less then 7 months so its ownly getting better as well. -------------------- |
