Has anyone done this? i don't know a whole lot about it, and im' just wondering what else would u need, i assume u would need the rear axle of a gt4. what other parts would u need, u already have the drive train if u buy a front clip. i'm just curious as to how much of a hassle this would be, if it's worth it, and cost effective. any info would be awesome, i've just always heard of everyone changing out the drive train and making it fwd.

Hey Psyko, try searching past posts...this topic has been covered alot, so you'll find everything you need to know by searching. Its just kind of a hassel to retype the same replies every time someone asks the question...so please dont take offence to our lack of enthusiasm in reguards to answering this question.

No disrespect intended, but this post is an over-simplification of this project. If it was easy and took 12 hours to do this right, there would be a 100 of them - not one.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Do it then brother! We would LOVE to see it done by a member. You would get nothing but major kudos and respect. How long do you think it will take you?

what does the gt4 gas tank look like? does it fit in our usdm 6gc?

i remember at one time someone posted an ebay like to a 6gc converted full to awd and 3sgte. but they used a racing fuel cell not a stock gas tank.

anyone has insite on this?

It'll be very difficult to use the stock USDM 6gc fuel tank. Might want to look into others or possibly a fuel cell. The 6gc tanks will block a lot of stuff...
