I saved the post.

https://wfs.bc.edu/melket/Public/Car_stuff/.../eBayISAPI.html

I did get a test drive in it. Really Rough.
Needed a bit of paint work, gridning tires on fenders , loose mirror.
bad driver's front axle. Too bad he at least
didn't clean it up at least. :-(

In fairness, It was Fast. Probably All that mattered.

It was not worth the 12K he was asking IMHO.
To a Real rich Enthusiast, it would have been a
Good Project car.

I actually wish I could have afforded to buy it.
Just needed a bit more work than I, a mere mortal,
could afford.

There is No Reason why he could not have sourced a
JDM ST205, US AllTrac, Camry Alltrac etc tank.
The tank he put in would only take ~9gallons (?)
because he used the stock filling pipe.

Seeing One in person, makes it seem like it is doable. :-)
The trick is, it will never be economical to do it.
I know of at least One Real rhd ST205 Legal in the US.

Regards;

I've seen the swap done if you do it yourself it's not that bad
PARTS
1.drive shaft
2.rear end
3.gas tank
4.rear suspen
5.awd trans
6.12-hr labor

lets not forget that GT-4's use the super strut suspention... not sure if that would have any effect on the project. good luck if you do it though smile.gif
