How to go about getting a Car Imported?, how? Options

How would I go about getting a GT4 or a Skyline or something along those lines imported over here?

the money it would cost just isnt worth it. u guys tend to forget that even though we love our cars, its just a damn car. i am no way paying 100G's for a R34 GTR through Motorex...

yep 93,000 for a new r-34 unless of course u want a different model but even then the cheapest isis a 1990 r32 and its still 18,000

gt4s really can't happen. the reason you can get a skyline is because motorex invested the money to get them crash test certified. really, the only way you could get a gt4 is buy a cut up one, and then swap it onto a US celica, like mike and igotta are doing, because no one over here has done the work.

i also would not suggest getting a skyline outside of california. you will run into nothing but problems driving it around where people don't ever see them. i mean, around here, i get pulled over for stupid **** all the time. like i got pulled over one night for my JDM tails b/c the cop couldn't figure out what car i had. imagine if you drove by a cop in a RHD car! ha! i just wouldn't want to deal with that crap.

whats the point of having a lhd skyline, the whoel thing about a skyline is that its rhd, also the twin turbo setup and all that good stuff, but wouldnt it be a b*tch to try to roll through mcdonalds drive through with one?

If you really want a Skyline then go to motorex.com and there have been numerous LHD conversions but it costs like $20k and you gotta cut up the firewall and all this custom fab. Its not worth it, the only people who have done it are rich bastards that wanted the bragging rights of it being unique. I wouldn't want it after someone hacked it up like that, Nissan did a great job building them so leave it that way.
