I tried to pull it out too and I thought the same thing - that I wasn't prying it at the right spot.
I don't know why the driver's side is so easy and yet the passenger side is so hard. I was actually afraid I would break it I was prying so hard. I guess I'll just have to give it another go. |

use two flat head screw drivers, cover the tips in a layer of tape so you don't make any marks in the dash. Use on on the top, and one on the bottom, and pry that sucker off.
PS. Ray's tip: sometimes when you swear at it, it gets mad at you and will give you a harder time, you have to remain calm and reason with it like you would a woman. "Baby, if you come out for me now, I will make you look so much better." or "Honey, I'm just doing this all for you" usually work without a problem. LOL owned, haha hardly, he wasnt even flaming he misconstrued your 1st post which was easy to do b/c you never stated it was to your girlfriends car, you just said "we", which led us (the people of 6gc) to believe you and a friend, but you did not specify whos car... well now that i just made the situation even harder to follow...
yes the passanger side is a bish to get out, basically take 2 screwdrivers as stated before and wiggle it out a small bit at a time, force is good... the top are metal clips like the rest... the problem is on the bottom are massive plastic clips, if you can pry the dashing back just a tad you may be able to see them better, if you can pop those through 1st your world will be a heck of a lot easier. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
