i have a 12:1 vortech been used about 2 weeks on my turbo system works great but i just got a super fmu vortech from a friend so i'm going to swap them
also with an fmu you dont need a safc or piggy back ecu but they help with tuning This post has been edited by nik: Jul 29, 2004 - 12:39 PM -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte

i am putting in walbro 255lph supra fuel pump in as we speak, im getting 350cc injectors, and getting either safc or smt6 piggy back. the purpose of fmu and safc are the same, adjut how much fuel to mix with the air (air/fuel mixture) so please inform me on why i would need to get a fmu and then safc to tune it better? i know plenty of people that run w/o fmu and use a piggy back such as safc. but yea, it will operate with both fmu and safc, but you can take fmu out of equation and still run fine

If you were looking at cost all you need is the fmu and you'll be fine you don’t need a safc or piggy back ecu. Just trying to be helpful and share what I’ve learned after turboing my car.Oh ya when your done you should get it dynod and see what your putting down and let me know i just want to know how the gt turbo do -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte
