It says motor set so I would assume that would mean transmision as well. Are these guys reputable? If so I'm gonna be droping my car off to them next year sometime.

The site says the complete front clip, so it would be the tranny, unless they just use the 5s tranny if they can. Isnt the 3s tranny in the clip awd? Well anyway i had no idea a place like this existed in tampa, my home town!?!?!?! It is like god is tempting/hinting at me to do this swap, 4200 is better than i could have ever imagined. Coomer, if you have heard of this place give me some imput man.

Nah, I found the site from another post on here.

i emailed them about the swap. They said it includes everything we would need for the swap. We would not need to get any other pieces for them. The guy also told me that they will do other engine swaps.. Just offer them the idea and they will do the research to see if it will fit, if it does, they will install it for you.

Does this include a 3 inch exhaust as well? It doesn't say anything about what exhaust the install. I'm sure the auto to manual conversion will cost a little more, but if they have the whole front clip then all the parts should just come off of that.

As soon as I save up enough money I think I'm gonna have them do it. I have about 3k right now.

looks like it's time for a trip to tampa!!!!!!!!!
just a few questions though:

should i go with the 3rd gen engine since it's only a motor set or would it be better to go with the 2nd gen which is a whole front clip??

i was wondering what tranny they use too cuz i've got an st.

anyone have any experience with these guys though??

Wow, this is a dream come true. I'm in Jacksonville.. not too far from Tampa which is nice. I'm definitely going to check into this.

I will also like to be at the meet in Tampa on the 24th.. but I will have to check with my parents being that I recently drove to Virginia (where I still am being that I screwed up my car.) frown.gif rolleyes.gif

Jen or anyone in Florida,
If you can check that place out for us that would be awesome.

They did tell me that it was a 6-8 week waiting list. Just send them an email. They were very nice in response

just to let any of you guys who were wondering know,

I emailed them with a few questions,

They told me it takes about 2 weeks to complete the swap, and their engines vary from 30-60k miles, and they use the 3S-GTE tranny for the swap.

They use the 3sgte tranny? Well maybe they're talking about an mr2 tranny

It wouldn't matter if you went with the font clip or motor set. They're going to keep all extra clip parts (you most likely wouldnt want anyways. Well, maybe, afterall it is jdm, and jdm parts are better then midgets in sacks) most likely. And front clip or not, you've payed for a swap, and it'll get done. If it doesn't bitch or sue

St folk, I THINK you guys would needs a whole need tranny. Cuz 3s dont bolt up to ur tranny, do they? The tranny that will come with it is an AWD tranny, so none of us really have use for that.

This looks like a great deal. I start to price this out and I think they're great
$3,000 for clip (shipping in there)
$1,00 for labor (thats what my shop told me)
$500 for intercooler
LOTS of lil charges for hoses, belts, fuilds, and piping. Not only that, but they dyno it for you too.

I know I'll be taking a good hard look at these guys when/ if I go to swap
