I was just wandering, I have seen a few pictures of 5sfe engines with headers, but have yet to find a single company that makes headers for the 5sfe, which brings up the question, where did you get the headers? If anybody knows anything about headers for the 5sfe PLEASE let me know! I would appreciate it a lot!

Go to summit racing and get headers for the 4th gen celi with the 3sfe engine. That will fit and is your only choice.

hm.... I have a header for my 6th Gen 5SFE. It's a Genie header. It was for the ST 184 but they fit fine in the 204. There is another header called Hurricane that make them for the ST184 as well. That should fit fine in the 204 as well but I can't vouch for that as I haven't seen them in a car yet. Hurricane said that they will fit though.

The Hurricane header was $300 AUD supplied and the Genie was a little more.. I think about $340AUD. I didn't get my Genie from the factory but the Hurricane Header quote was straight from the factory.
$300 AUD is about $170 USD. You have to remember that the stock manifold has the cat inside so you will need a new cat and probably a double braided flex pipe if your going to change to an extractor. Hey Jwalk where did you get your shiftlight from and how much was it?. I'm looking for a shift light and only a shift light. |

God damn thats a hell of a lot for a header!. About 3 or 4 times as much as I paid for mine. Seriously, you won't feel that much difference in power unless you have done the whole hog, all the way through with new cams etc. It will sound more throatier though and a little more poke through the range but thats about it. Also one thing to watch out for is to stay away from stainless steel headers.
If you want a pic of my header here is the link: *Click here* It's a 4-2-1 design which a little different to the one that you are looking at. |

YEAH IT SHOULD THE SITE SAYS 94-99. IT WENT INTO MY 97GT WITH NO PROBLEMS. BUT I DONT NO IF 95 AND 97 HAVE ANY DIFFRENCES IN EXHAUST SYSTEMS. THE OTHER PLACE YOU COULD GET A HEADER IS PACE SETTER AND ITS LIKE $50 LESS BUT IM NOT SURE HOW EASY IT IS TO PUT IN.
