hey everyone.. every since i got the GT i have can't seem to make up my mind on what i went to do for more power.. I already know what i'm going to do for body style and suspension .. but when it comes to the engine bay i just don't know.. cause there are so many options for me..

1. Trubo the 5s. get 200 to the wheels
2. Supercharge it and get 200 to the wheels
3. 11:1 pistons and rebuild and get 200 to the wheels with the help of the juice
4. swap and get 300 to the wheels
5. leve it as is and just get a mustang.

maybe if i can get others point of view on this i could decide what to do..

i say 1 or 4 i love the sound of turboed car. and turboed eclipse tried to race me a couple of days ago i did just to hear his car too bad it was really fugly. anyways turbo all the way so you can just turn up the boost (theoretically) when you want more HP.

Former: 96 GT 5 speed (i/p/e) Fate- rear ended by mack truck
00 GTS 6 speed (i/ Bored TB 63mm - 68.5mm w/ butterfly/ Ported IM/ IMG/ PFC/ Commander/ datalogit/ Ported & heat wrapped Header/ Decat/ UEGO/) 193FWHP 14.2(1/4mi) @98mph, 2.12 60ft (just intake, unbolted Exhaust, and gutted) Fate- side swipped by 18 wheeler at 75mph.

Next: maybe an elise

1 shows more potential for later building (more fun) than supercharging. And then you could always be dangerous and raise the boost breifly smile.gif Can't do that with a supercharger.. what you get is what you get.

4 would be the best option; if you have th emoney

200 to the wheels is pretty optimistic, thats 100hp gain and for that ur looking at new internals and at least a T3.

I'd say go with #4, #1 is probably the easiest for you right now since you can run off of stock internals. #4 would get you the most performance for your money but you have to be willing to do a lot of work. NEVER do #5, I will hate you the rest of your life if you trade a Celi for a newer 'stang. If it was a built to crap 67 or 69 then I won't hate you, but newer ones are trendy and pieces of crap from my point of view.

GT's have V8's in them. I believe that all of the Cobras come Supercharged, but not the GT's.
