 What to look at when getting a used tranny? |

I'm about to start looking for a used tranny for my auto to manual conversion. What should I look for when I go look at them. I figure low mileage is good, no water in them of course, what else?

Price. I know a guy that has one in perfect working order for sale for $175.

ask about how it shifts into gear, what kinda clutch was used on it, good synchros, stuff like that.
Mileage is a biggie 2, but my 5sfe tranny has 190,000 and shifts pretty smoth. -------------------- |

Well the one I'm looking at is from some guy in ohio for $200 and has 70k miles on it.
Also is there a difference between the auto flywheel and the manual flywheel? |
