Not sure on the internal engine parts(I'd guess that they're not compatible though), but I know for a fact that the ECUs are different.

and the boast is set at 13psi compared to 10psi, its got a map sensor instead of AFM, new engine management, ct26 instead of ct20b, new ecu, larger o2 sensor, more agressive cams, revised internals and cooling, new intake manifold, lower compression, ss head gasket, 540cc compared to 430cc injectors, bigger bore on fuel rail, relocated feul pressure regulator, tvis eliminated, throttle body increased to 60mm, valve lift increased to 8.7, tempeture sensor in intake manifold, aluminum oil pan, larger exhaust elbow, better oil cooling.
i think thats it, i have like 4pages on the 3sgte engine and one of them is about the difference's between the 2nd and 3rd generation, i'll try to find a link if i can. |

Thx u guys' information.
But recently, I just found some JUN cam-shafts can be used in both 2nd and 3rd gen 3S-GTE, then I just think do all engine internal parts can be used together. |
