haha, what are you goin to pad lock??, i actually figured it out i'll take the ignition out but leave it inside the dash with the key in it 24/7 in the start position (i can still access the key to take it out though) and i'll have a kill switch for the electricity to the ignition so its not always on...or sumthing of that nature i'm not sure what i'm goin to do as of now just tossing around ideas, thanks for the info

i got idea, do all that, then put the ignition start in the key hole, after that also install the keypad lock, so you have security with pimpness...now you got me thinkin

id be like this:

1)put keyhole hidden underdash
2)install ignition start by hooking it up with igniion wire and starter wire (refer to wiring diagram)
3)install accessory power kill by cutting accessory wire in put the switch in the middle.
4)put the keypad in and install.....im not sure how, but you probably use the starter wire as well

then.....you get in your car, turn on the switch, input code, and press button.

bad things about this:
alot of stuff to do to start car
if any of it faults in the future you have no way of starting car(unless backup plan devised)

positives:
can turn on you cig lighter and radio with a switch
more secure...no1 would know how to turn on, not to mention ur own code
ur putting in technology that benz's have= pimp

kill switch runs electricity to the key so one will turn on the starter and one will run the electricity in general

haha i'm not goin to key pad lock my car thats just to much ......but i have another plan since pretty much none of you besides one guy knows where i live i don't give a care.....
steps
1) remove ignition (key insert)
2) splice starter wire: connect to driver side door lock then to engine start button (you have to hold to lock button down at the same time you have to push the engine start button)-that is the sneekiness who would guess to push both at the same time?!
3) splice accessory wires to a kill switch (this will control all power that turn they key to the on position would normally)

there you go that is how i plan on running my ignition

2 wont work. auto door switches are moentary, so like when u press the down button and hold it, it only sends one pulse, not a continuous flow. and even if it was a continuous flow, it still wouldnt work, cause ud still be able to start it without holding down the button
