Sorry chief
No they will not ship to the US. They will ship to UK. If you read the shipping FAQ, it'll explain futher. The whole emissions and crash tests and all the good BS that no one really should care because a Glasspack'd big block chevy jacked up 3 feet in the air riding on tires taller than my car drives past me daily. Sorry. The only company i've EVER heard of that actually LEGALLY imports cars is MotoRex in Cali. And thats only Skylines and SR20DETTs. Eh, my bad. I don't actually "read", more like glance and assume. That how I got my Celica. "Hmm....looks fairly quick....."

/Nissan rant Just to point out that the Nissan Skyline is a car, and the SR20DET (not TT) is an engine. I don't think that motorex does any engine imports. For further clarifaction the Skyline came with one of three engines depending on generation and model. The RB20DETT, RB25DETT, or the big daddy RB26DETT. You find the SR20DET in what are known in the US as the "Nissan 240SX" However the stateside 240SX has the KA24D or KA24DE. Which is a truck engine not very well suited for a sports car. /end Nissan Rant -Puchi -------------------- Pistons are for sissies!

Too many Ts... I'm always thinking of Skyline when I'm typing that engine code. The skyline is a car - yes The sr20det is a engine - yes MotoRex imports Skylines and Skyline engines along with Silvia engines.
No you wont. As you stated right after, the SR20 wasn't available for the 240SX, but was a easy swap out of the Silvia. Much like our GT4 3S to our USDM GT models. The reason I know about the Silvia engine is because I contacted them asking them if they imported any other cars (back before they were big - I'm in love with the FTO). They told me that they really only deal with Nissans and the legalization process so far has only included the Skyline engines and the Silvia engine. I asked if they import the whole Silvia, and they said no the only car they will import is a Skyline.

Was there a point to all that? I'm not trying to be rude, but I just don't see where you're getting at. Yes, skylines are neat, so are RBs. KA's suck, SR's are better. What'd you getting at? -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife

if im not mistaken the Beams IS a 3S-GE engine
the difference it the vvt-i which increases to 210hp at the crank(based on Toyota Engines website) any Lexus IS300 uses a 2jz-ge and any Toyota Altezza uses a 3s-ge i believe the Lexus IS200 or 400 whatnot is going to use a big ol' V8 -------------------- |
