What do you guys think?

I'd like to paint it or get a real aluminum one but I cant afford a aluminum one and the paint isnt reversiable when I want to sell the car.

BTW, I bought this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

and am supposed to recieve it tomorrow, how does it hook up? The seller doesnt respond to any of my emails or questions and I dont know how to hook up the airflow sensor or if I have to remove the stock airbox and use the plastic tubing leading to it.

personally, I wouldnt sugest using it with out getting proper tubing to make a cold air intake. If you just pop it on, it will end up hurting your eninge, because you will be drawing in hot air. . and with the stickers or what ever that is, I wouldnt, imo I think it would make it look cheap an chezze like most rice cars out there.. If you wanna do some color, do somthing like wraping your doors in dif colors or like sued thats what ive been thinking about. good luck

itll work fine. The MAS (sensor) connects after the filter and you wont have to remove the stock air pipe. The adaptor will go right against the stock airbox and allow more air to get in.

Plus - more air
Minus - Hot Air
Total - equals out but you get a nice loud roar from the engine

I also have a SVX that has magnaflow exhaust and I love the way it sounds. I want to add a little pur from the celica but nothing ricy. I know that the can mufflers are horriable sounding but the ovals are supposed to be better. What do you think of this? I want it to still be quite but more of a pur than the stock wistle.

I got it and connected it to the stock rubber tubing. Sounds a little louder but not by much. My question is this: It also came with a plastic piece, I have no idea how it was supposed to hook into it, also the little sensor that plugs into the stock airbox, where is that supposed to go?

Thanks for all of you help!

Todd

WHAT! the 02 sensor is very important. Most cars wont run without them being in. If you got a intake without a hold and a flange, send it back. The flange is for the breather valve on the valve cover. Use a small rubber (high heat) tube to connect the two with hose clamps. The hole is made for the 02 sensor to fit in and adjust fuel based on the amount of air entering the throttle body.

Thanks Again.

So I got it, that was some fast shipping (3 WEEKS!!! mad.gif ). It isnt cut correctly and the adhiesive doesnt stay secure when my cars been sitting out in the sun for hours. Other than that the contrast is nice. I think its missing a bezel tho, I want to match my gauges with this look. Does anyone have any of the aluminimum bezels on ebay installed? Ill post pics in a minute.
