A shop did it? How much, and did you get all teh parts? I need info. If i did that, I might keep my car after all!

Yeah a shop around here did it it cost 500 in labor and them around 900+ for parts. He also saind for a motor swap it would be 1500 labor then parts with a week trun around. Took him 2 full days to do the tranny.

1400 said and done with an ACT clutch and TRD short shifter sounds pretty cheap to me. All I know is I would have paid 2x that with the results that I got from it.

I don't know how good ACT is, but you can get a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch off Nopi.com for $350. I think i saw a TRD short shifter on ebay for like $150. And then i got quoted $400 for labor on installing a clutch on my car. So total that is $900 and then i could save money by installing the short shifter by installing it myself.

So $800-900 is right around what you should spend on parts and labor for a new clutch alone.

You should deffinetly get a centerforce, i havn't heard anything bad about them, plus you can get their Dual Friction clutch that has a 90% increase over OEM, i think.

YEAH, that's what I had put in back in November. Excellent clutch! And total for labor and clutch cam to about $700 and I'm pretty sure we got jacked a little on that. Shop around.
