i search but couldnt find what i needed. i got the 8 speacker package, and what i need to know is that do i have to get a new amp or can i just keep it with the new radio

nah shid misunderstood i think because yea you can keep your factory amp for your regular speakers... the new radio will put a bit more power into them though, but everything should be fine

Your factory amp needs to be bypassed which is a pain in the butt to do yourself. I know that BestBuy when installing your deck will do it for like 80 bucks, but if you want to keep the STOCK speakers then you have to have that bypassed. Otherwise, if you are installing new speakers then you might want to go with aftermarket amplifiers.
