Ok, as some of you might know or have seen on my profile, my tail-lights were messed up. I bought the car (for 500.00) and one of the tail light lenses were gone. So I had to rig something together to make it work for now. Well I have spent the last 3 weeks rebuilding my tails. I like the supra tail lights but did not want to go stock. Since I dont have every tool in the world (yet) I was able to build these:

My homemade tails

Tell me what you think.....

Im not sure to keep them or to just get some supra tail lights and them put on!

Custom is good. They look good but it's not something I would put on my car since I was never a fan of the afterburner style. But props to you for getting it going!

Thanks...

Its about all I could come up with. I looked at tail lights from other cars and this was the design I liked best. Just not sure what to think!

Looks good.. I think it suffers from the same problem that the afterburners suffer from- the circles are just too small! Limitation of the celica taillight design

I think you would be better off with supra taillights,, you did a great job custom making, but its just not the style of the celica imo. Its your car tho, you should do what u like even if noone else likes it.

Ya, I like the supra lights but its $$ to have them put on and to look good! I was trying to do something alittle different then what everyone else has. I might try to build a new setup if I can find someone to sell me a pair of tails that are broken!

Ya, 500! In needed a new bumper, one new fender, and the one tail was broken. The inside of the car was trashed too! Im working on it now. New seats on the way, alum flooring, custom setup for the radio etc...... The main reason I jumped on it was the engine only had 67,000 miles! lol

Yep! I worked with the woman who was trying to get rid of it. It was her sons and he moved to japan with the airforce so he did not need it.

Not a bad deal!
