The add is also in Japanese, so it probably isnt for the 5SFE enigne anyways. And i thought the reason we dont have a cold air intake is because there is no where to run the pipes and filter....is that right?

Cold air gets you colder air, which is better; but you run the risk of getting a waterlocked engine, which is no joke and will costs you several thousand dollars for a new engine

Air intake is just like the regular big boxed intake (for our cars), the cold air intake is like they said, it gets cold air by trying to get its air away from the engine & closer to fresh air instead of the heated air from under the hood.

Every aftermarket intake you can get for our cars isn't boxed anymore, it's short RAM style.. and mine's nice and shiny with a heatshield! woooooo .05hp!

Edit: Plus CAI's are super shiny which can give upto 70HP depending on level of shine. tongue.gif

I had a left over air intake for a neon....I took it drilled a hole for the sensor had to cut 2 inches off but it runs along the side or the car just fine. I think it cost me like 10.00 and 15.00 to ship!
