I know that JapanParts.com has the underbody brace for $80, maybe they would do a group buy for even cheaper than that. They also have front and rear strut bars as well.

Thanks for hooking me up on that website. Interestingly, if you look at the braces for the ST205, there is a type I and a Type II. Roo at Bulletproof offers the Type II. The type I is about $80 and consists of just a bar. The type II has the supporting cross members and looks like the picture I posted. When you look at the products for the ST202 and ST203 (which are more similar in design to our cars), only the type I is offered. First, we need to make sure the Type II will fit. Also, the japan parts website says it will only work with manual transmissions and the 3sge. So, we will have to confirm that it will work with the ST, GT and 3sgte too. I will check into it. Here is a pic from the japanparts website: This post has been edited by jgreening: Aug 16, 2004 - 5:29 AM -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
