Well, I found myself a reallly nice 1993 MR2 turbo with 83k miles. Took it out last night and put a hold check on it. Its going to be fun blingin two red toyota's! Cant wait to start modding even though it pulled hard as heck stock!

nice work....just be carefull with the mr2. driving a mid engine car, is nothing like the fwd or rwd cars out there. many people spinout a lot during the 1st year of owning the car....so just be carefull, and read some of the driving tips they have on the mr2 msg boards.

3000GT is sold...
Only things im kinda hesitant about is the mr2 has no power steering and no a/c and aftermarket cruise control. It is a excellent shape 93' with 83k miles and all maintence done. The guy will take no less than 8k. I just feel like im kinda getting less of a car without power steering and a/c. I really never use a/c anyways. When i drove it the lack of power steering didnt take long to get used to either.. I dont know though. Just feel like im getting less. -------------------- |

hey,
i am a mr2 guy who owns a ST205 and there is a lot of celica/mr2 owners out there... it will be hard to decide what car to take . well if mr2 is turbo i know what i would take .. I live 2 1/2 hrs from you and will be driving thru Dayton a couple times a month from now on so maybe sometime when i have the st205 road worthy and umm "legal" i will swing by to BS and let you drive the GT4 .. My 91/94 mr2 is still not finished .. decided my 04' 3MZ 3.3l V6 was not going to be enough so i doing twins on it with low boost and stock internals .. should be able to get at least 250 at the wheels and lots of yummy torque .. That is my winter project .. motor is ready just need to source the twins .. I have owned 8 mr2's and have not wrecked or spun in any of them ... Well ok once i spun but i was doing it on purpose ...i even drove a 91 for a winter car and 2 years ago i drove a 88 s/c mk1 in the winter and no issues .. just have to drive smart in the rain and on really fast roads with tight corners.. remeber brake before turn and accelerate thru it . #1 reason a lot of guys wreck mr2s is bad maintence on brakes and bald rear tires.. i once drove a mk2 i just bought home from the junkyard and didn't know the rear tires were bald on the inside and i hit a rain storm at 70 mph on the highway and let me say it was a hand full but i made it ok .. 90 miles of hell .. Make sure to check for damage on car.. lot of clean titled mr2's with shady repair work out there .. i have seen tons .. BTW NEW PICS OF MY ST205 IN PROFILE .. STILL LOOKS THAT WAY AND THAT PICTURE IS 14 MONTHS OLD .. I WOULD LOVE TO SAY WHAT I PAID FOR CAR BUT YOU ALL WOULD REALLY REALLY HATE ME .. I checked the car out real good. It is in super good shape. It is owned by a early 30 yr old guy and his dad had it before him. He said he has never even broken the tires loose on it. It feels real solid and well taken care of.

I guess about half the mr2's dont have power steering and lots dont have A/c either. Its just options you can add on. The way i look at it i guess is less things to go wrong. It will also be faster too because that takes a good amount of weight off the car.
I've been looking for a really good condition one for awhile now. Turbo's are hard to come across. -------------------- |

I've always loved the MR2 and even the MRS but for some reason my 6'6 body will not fit comfortably in the car....... |

omg thats hot as mess, lol, i like the tan interior, are those the stock wheels painted? you should get new wheels, and a boost controller, and you should be set for a while...

hey,
man you got a nice 2.. seats are still in great cond .. make sure you cond' the crap out of them .. most midwest mr2's with leather have nasty cracked seats due to driving in winter and not taking care of seats.. if you ever want to get rid of large steering wheel .. 94-97 celica steering wheel and airbag are straight bolt on and works fine with airbag ecu .. same wheel was used on 94-95 mr2's .. i will have to bring my mr2 3.3l v6 and st205 by sometime..if you every want to sell mudflaps i will offer big $$$$ for them ..lol lol .. |
