what paint exactly did you use? where did you get it from?

I was thinking about doing this, I don't dig yellow on red, at all.

I used the Testors candy apple red transparent spray paint. $2.99+ tax at Michael's. I took off the tail light, taped it off (except the outer amber corner) and I sprayed a light coat on. Let it dry and reinstalled. It is red on the outside but when the blinker is on, it is yellow at each blink.

I didn't clear coat them. I first wanted to see if I liked them all red. I wicked do.

The bulb is clear. It does blink kinda amber, kinda red. I will do another coat next week and probably clear coat it then too. I really don't care what color it blinks, I am just happy it is red on the outside biggrin.gif

BLINKYxMUNKEY, I have been looking forward to changing my sig all day biggrin.gif

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I like smoking more than redding. Mine came out pretty much just how I wanted them. Just a lil darker than stock, but still noticeable.

Hmm.. I think those would look awesome, if they were redded AND smoked! smile.gif
