I guess I am the only one that will back up my opion I am for FWD, basically because it takes more power to turn four wheels than it does to turn 2, also you loose like 10% more power in the driveshaft of AWD cars so this is just my opinion. Feel free to crush it now.

QUOTE
y put a 2jz engine into a celica when its been proven the 3sgte is a MUCH MUCH more versitile, performance oriented, reliable, AND lightweight engine...

Im going to point out this obvious little fact, seeing as i haven't seen anyone else do so before.

2JZ-GTE = 6cyl 3lt twin seq. turbo = 320 HP

3S-GTE = 4cyl 2lt single turbo = 185-240 HP (ST165-ST205)

Duh, the 2jz stock is a bigger more powerful engine!!! (by 80-115 HP) - In some circumstances, It is a better option to install an already powerful engine than to spend thousands getting the 3s upto the same level. Without counting the extra costs for swapping in the big 2jz, if both engines had the same amount of money spent on them, the 2jz will come out more powerful. Plus believe it or not, some people like RWD cars! biggrin.gif

Not that I want to do this - I dream of getting a japanese GT-4 (can and have been imported to Aus!!).
