Hey the times are pretty good kind like mine when i 1st ran at the track. But what that guy said about your trap speed is kinda slow for a 3rd gen 3sgte. I think my slowest trap speed MIGHT have been a 100mph. Thats not much from your 98 or 99 mph but its kinda wierd, cuz i also had crappy tires BAD launches and 17's on too.

Let us know how it runs after the tuning. Oh and btw, i know you're in FL, but where do you get your car tuned for $130? Is that a dyno tune or whats up can u email or pm me when you can.

get those coilovers, and some drag radials for the front and you should be in the mid 13's @11psi or better once you get good at drag racing....

That's sweet! biggrin.gif

Down at the track where you race, do you have to have an externally mounted battery kill switch if the battery is in the non-factory location? Where would you put the switch?

i know you have to have a switch ....i hope to god it doesnt have to be externally mounted. $130 is like the average price of an hour of tunning... so almost anywhere... and weight reduction is gonna be on my mind all the time now...

that's only about 50 or 60 more lbs then stock, right? CF hood, remove the rear seats, and hatch panels. Get a racing steering wheel, and pulls the airbag sensors and lil airbag computer boxes. That would help.

i have no dought that i can get it into the 13s... espically after all the practice i had tonight beating GST eclipse and gutted civic on spray.

toy, i told my friend what you said, i told him that you have same setup but you had higher trap speed... he immediatly asked me where did you live... i told him california, and he was like well duh.... south florida is humid as ****... cars that run 7s in puerto rico cant run 10s in south florida...
