i would either have a shop build you a custom box or buy a sub zero box (http://www.subzeromfg.com). 99% of all prefab boxes are JUNK!!! that are made out of particle board and will make your sub sound like sh!t.

EDIT - here is a better link to a box: Subzero 10" box

Ok. I need to sum this up:

Hifonics ZX6400 - $175
CDT CL61a - $150
IMAGE DYNAMICS IDQ10V.2 D2 - $144
SUBZERO RPS10G Single 10" Sealed Enclosure - $100
Wire and Fill - $75

Total - $650

Any further thoughts before I order?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

If you just don't want to build a fiberglass enclosure, you could build one out of 3/4" MDF...supplies for that would only cost $25 or so, and they're not hard to make.

Either way, make sure your enclosure is around .3 to .5 cubic feet.

Other than that it sounds like a pretty good setup. Are you going to install it all yourself?

Sounds good...glad I could help. smile.gif

Just don't forget the sound deadener, because those doors will definitely rattle with the volume cranked up. wink.gif
